What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your device. They let a site recognise your browser on your next request, so you stay signed in and your preferences are remembered. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, let an application keep small pieces of data in your browser for the same purposes.
This policy explains which of these technologies Office by Elevera uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. The data controller is Elevera Studio (obrt za računalno programiranje, vl. Petar Markota), Ulica Stjepana Draganića 9, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia.
How we use them
We keep our use of cookies to a minimum. Office only sets the cookies and storage entries that are strictly necessary to run the service: keeping you signed in, remembering your language, and recording your cookie choice. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites.
We group cookies into two categories: essential cookies, which the service cannot work without, and optional cookies, which would only ever run with your consent. The sections below describe each category.
Essential cookies
Essential cookies are required for Office to function. They cannot be switched off because the service would not work without them, and under data protection law they do not require your consent. Today this category contains exactly three entries:
- Sign-in session cookie: keeps you securely authenticated as you move between pages, so you do not have to log in again on every request.
- Locale preference cookie: remembers the language you chose (English, German, or Croatian) so the interface stays in your language.
- Cookie-consent choice: records the decision you made in the consent panel, so we do not ask you again on every visit.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary, the consent panel does not offer a switch to disable them.
Optional cookies
Optional cookies cover analytics (understanding how the product is used) and marketing (measuring campaigns). None of these cookies are set today. Office does not currently load any analytics or marketing scripts.
If we introduce optional cookies in the future, they will remain switched off until you actively opt in through the consent panel. We will update this policy before any such cookie is used, and your existing choice will continue to be respected.
Managing your choice
You can review or change your cookie choice at any time. Use the button below to reopen the consent panel, where you can see the current categories and update your preferences. Because no optional cookies are active today, the panel mainly confirms which essential cookies are in use.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You can also manage cookies directly in your browser. Most browsers let you view stored cookies, delete them, and block sites from setting new ones, usually under settings named Privacy, Security, or Site data.
Please note that if you delete or block the essential cookies described above, parts of Office may stop working: you may be signed out, or your language and consent choice may not be remembered.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to the service, to the cookies we use, or to legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page, and any material change, such as introducing a new category of cookie, will be reflected here before it takes effect.
